Anyway to revert Evo firmware back to before the update?

Since update the stock HTC browser sometimes doesn't load pages on WiFi or 3G. It happens frequently enough to annoy. Other browsers work fine but I'm not interested in side stepping this problem. I paid too much for this phone to tolerate this issue by using Dolphin or Opera.

Already did a hard reset the day after the update to resolve an unrelated problem. But that didn't revert HTC firmware back to previous version.

Anyone know how to revert firmware back?

My 30 day return period ends Monday and after that Sprint probably won't exchange it for a brand new one. Also I have heard that the most recent version of the Evo doesn't have as good a screen.

Hopefully someone out there can help. Thanks.

The last update was a steaming pile of poo. Pages load so slow for me now in dolphin but I haven't tried st ock yet. Youtube crashes every so often and the screen is a little too responsive for swype now. I'm waiting for another update and hoping we will get froyo this month.

Those are some weird problems. My browser is just fine.
Google search "Evo RUU" and put the version you want after that. Make sure you choose the version right before thee recent ota... because the stock one had an sd card issue.

I'm guessing if it wasn't announced here and other places you'd never know the difference between the old screen and the new screen.
