Ugh, so I know how this is going to sound, its not me that is this way.

So I work for a university, they were getting me an nexus s for development. The problem, its only available at Best Buy and they have to charge tax online. You can get a refund but apparently thats too much drama for the accountant.

So is there anywhere else other than the creep on Amazon selling no contract Nexus S phones?

Is there a way to get a no contract Galaxy S 4g?

I've dealt with accounting and purchasing offices enough to feel your pain.

I don't think there are any other authorized resellers in the US besides Best Buy. You should be able to buy a Galaxy S 4G off contract at T-Mobile's website, but you'll lose a lot of the freedom (and timely OS updates) that you would have with the Nexus S.
