AOD notifications not showing

Not sure why my notifications are not appearing on the AOD screen. Stock screen. Wife's is still showing just fine. Click and home button are fine. Any idea?

If you use a lock screen they will show. If you don't they will not.

Thank you. Now if I could get Bixby voice to work with voice activation on the camera. I guess for now it's one or the other.

I have some apps that show up, than disappear after a few minutes (words with friends and a few others). Other notifications seem to get delayed, show up all at once when I wake the phone up in the morning.
