AOKP 25, Nova Launcher and GoSMS

I'm currently running AOKP 25 with Nova Launcher and Handcent as my SMS app. Is there a way to somehow run GoSMS without Go Launcher? Or is there another SMS app out there better? What are you guys running?

i use stock sms. i think go sms can be dl'd separate from go launcher. if it does, you can use it with nova.
