Last week I flashed AOKP's JB-MR1 Milestone and didn't like it due to major battery drain and some other issues, so I went back to the 4.1.2 milestone. I'm having a problem now with the camera and gallery. Basically, there is no Camera app listed under the applications tab, despite the fact it is showing up in my app drawer. The actual "Camera" app is now only listed under "Gallery". In correlation with this, my pictures saved on my internal SD card are showing up, but they are listed under Gallery only; they aren't accessible from the Camera app anymore (only newly taken pictures are). I know this has something to do with how 4.2.2 partitions things and it probably got screwed up when I went back to 4.1.2, but I'm not sure exactly how to get my actual Camera application back and have all the pictures accessible from it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hmm I've been running AOKP 4.2.2 on my Sprint GNex and haven't had any complaints on battery drain, at least not anymore than usual for the GNex.

The change over back to 4.1.2 from 4.2.2 could be your problem. There was a change in the layout of the filesystem when the upgrade to 4.2.2 took place, that is why they recommended you do a full clean wipe when upgrading from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2.

The problems your having COULD be a result of trying to downgrade after your filesystem has been restructured to work with 4.2.2. Not for certain about this but its worth considering.
