For some reason out of nowhere my aol started giving me "authentication error"... it's happened before so I Uninstalled the account and reinstalled and always worked..

Now I've attempted to do the same and its telling me that I have the wrong name or password which I dont. I've tried to set it up manually and no beans.

Anyone experience this or want to offer some help?

I just had the same problem this week, spent 1 hr on the phone with verizon. Verizon toled me that I am putting in the wrong information, like they would know and I dont GGGGGGGGGG give me a break. I did a battery pull and tryed again with no problem, all is fine with the world again!!!! Hope it works for you it should!!

I'm having a similar problem with the Market. My primary (read: Market) account on the phone is my Google Apps, and I changed the password after that whole PSN fiasco. My phone prompted me to update my gApps and Gmail passwords, and I did. Now I can't buy anything from the market. It asks for my password, and always says it's wrong.

If I delete my account and re-add it, do I need to delete my other Google accounts as well? My main concern is that one of them will become the default Market account, and I'll lose access to all of my paid apps.

Pulling the battery worked for me too. It was physically hot, and cooled down immediately when I took it out, put it back in, and rebooted. Then AOL magically started working again.

Admittedly, I had left the phone in the car at lunchtime in nearly 100 degree weather...not thinking...so that may be why I had the problem. Not sure.
