aosp and google voice?

I have aosp's CM7 on my phone and, even though google voice is set up, it is not a choice to use for outgoing calls. The phone only shows skype and the dialet.
Is this normal? Us there a fix?

Yes. That was three first thing I checked. It its set to always use google voice.

Then try to set it to ask everytime. You should get the popup.

Even with"ask every time" checked, it isn't showing up when I place a call.
Any ideas? I really need to be able to have my GV CID show when I place calls.

Have you tried reflashing the rom? Maybe something was corupted in the flash process. Re-download the rom and reflash it. You should be able to flash it like its a update without wiping everything.

Hmmm it works fine for me, try un-installing and re-installing GV.

Google voice doesnt show up in the "choose how to make this call" window because its native. Once you tell it to use it, it automagically works within the dialer.
Try this.
Make sure its set to always use google voice.Start a call. Choose dialer and to always use this option. After you choose dialer watch the call screen. At the top a little white box should show up that says "calling with Google voice" followed by a set of numbers. This is the connection number gv is using to forward your call.
