I've had my Prime since it came out and was rooted and unlocked a long time ago. I still use it daily but I haven't switched ROMs in months. I've been on AndroWook for awhile now and lately I'm finding it a little laggy. I would prefer to go back to an AOSP ROM. Does any one have feedback on what they feel the best AOSP ROM is right now? Speed and minimal lag are very important to me.

I'd stick with the big names like CM or AOKP if supported.

Wrap it up with a nice kernel like from Franco to minimize things and maximize performance/battery life.

I tried CM and a couple of variants but didn't really like the layout. I ended up with Blackbean 8 (AOKP 4.2.2) and love it. I paired it with Motley's kernel (OC to 1.7) and my Prime is much less sluggish than before.
