APK downlload as pure download

[Android Central Question]

I have tested devices which do not contain Googla Play app as they do not need any user management on different devices.

How to solve APK download without any malicious code as it is not uploaded inside Google Play?

Can be done from a mobile device and downloaded into Downloads folder using Google Play as it is more secure?

Welcome to Android Central! I would stick with APKMirror, since they're probably the most reliable site (run by Android Police). Otherwise, you'd just have to scan the apps with a good antivirus app like Malwarebytes -- but the problem with many of these antivirus apps is that they tend to give a lot of false positives as well as missing true malware. In addition, there are many many shadier antivirus apps on the market that are more interested in loading adware onto your phone (or possibly worse).
