Apn settings locked

I have a Sprint LG V30. I wanted to register my device with a network called FreedomPop but it requires me to add an apn. When I go to my apn settings however, everything is greyed out and there is no way to add one. Maybe I should take it to a Sprint store....?

You can try, but I think they'll tell you that you can't change or add an APN. (The carrier can disable that ability.)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. But some things online say that they will do that at the store. I wish there was another way though.
