app and web page loading issues via wifi

Hi, I have issues with loading apps and webpages via wifi. Especially pictures do not load, sometimes entire webpages. I first thought it was my wifi as that was discussed previously, but I have it on almost all wifi networks. I have an LG G2 brand new with android 4.4 on it. I do not have this issue on my iPhone and not on a Samsung running an old android. It must be my phone, but what could it be?

Yes everything works fine using mobile data. I found out its the pictures which do not load or websites which have a lot of graphics. The wifi networks are okay, but I have the feeling my network at home is a bit slower on my LG G2 than on my iphone. If I had this issue on one network I could understand it, but on half a dozen is odd.

Just done a speed test on both phones next to each other. Pings LG is always 2~3 times slower 33 vs 100 me. Download and upload are similar 16Mbps and 7Mbps.
