App auto brightness setting.

I'm trying to find the setting for app auto brightness. For example, when I open my 7-11 app, the screen with my bar code automatically goes full bright. When I navigate to other screens throughout the 7-11 app, it goes back to normal. This is the same with my Costco app. It's handy to have auto brightness so the cashier can scan my phone. I'm trying to set this for my AXS ticketing app but can't find it.

There's no setting, it's baked into the app. You can do the same thing with Tasker (for $3) - when the AXS app is the foreground app, bring the brightness to 100%. When the task exits (the app is no longer the foreground app - maybe you have to check something before using the app), the brightness can go back to your normal setting. It will go back to normal if you just close the app too, since it's no longer the foreground app. (You can also do a lot more with Tasker.)
