Dear Forum,

The topic of relationship management for everybody has been a big topic in the US for the last 2-3 years and even large investors have send their own projects into the race. We also started our project ContactShip about 3 1/2 years ago, but without huge investors it took us a bit longer to launch.

Now we are very happy that we were able to publish our approach in the Google Play Store a few weeks ago :). So fare, we have over 500 downloads and mostly good reviews. We have significant differences to our competitors and believe that our approach is more coherent.

Summary of our concept

ContactShip app largely replaces the default address book in Android (unfortunately, Google policies prevent the complete replacement :( ) and helps our users to stay in touch with their family, friends and acquaintances much more precisely. On top, we offer the possibility to better record toxic relationships and events.

Main Features are:
  1. Manage contacts with their details and add and structure any type of information.
  2. Rating system for almost all entries (contacts, descriptions, occasions etc.).
  3. Automated reminder function per contact (summarized in a clear list).
  4. Contact history per contact and across contacts.
  5. Social linking of contacts (e.g. families, circle of friends)
  6. Cross-contact evaluations (e.g. all contacts under the age of 30 who like sushi)

Maybe one or the other of you will like the idea.
I'm happy to answer questions here in the forum, the link to download and test is here:

Personal relationship management is a lot about the interactions with the people we meet. If we just note when we met and the main topics, we talked about, we have a good base for the next conversation.

That's the reason why we focused more on more on interactions during the development of ContactShip. In the end we even decided to introduce occasions and interactions. An occasion is a phone call, party, chat, or shopping tour where we interact with one or multiple people. These two dimensions offer you the possibility to really structure your contact history.
