app icons

OK , when I look at apps in the store they'll appear with current icons....for example Google apps and the new Instagram. However once installed they still have old icons.

How do I fix this please??? Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums. What device and android version do you have? Are you using any theme or custom launcher? Do you get the same icons in your app drawer?

Hi , it's a Huawei p9 on marshmallow. It's just on the theme it came with and being Huawei it doesn't have an app drawer lol....

Yeah, Huawei is a bit special in that sense, no drawer and their own icons. I think your best option could be installing a custom launcher, like Nova or even Now, and set the default icons.
