App issue

Yes, in the US. No, I don't use a VPN. I've done the clearing data, cache, reboot, shut down the app store, restart the app. Still won't install. Really weird. Im still in touch with the app company, I'm trying to see if they'll give me the apk amd try to side load it.

Just wanted to see if anyone has ever had an issue installing an app from the Goggle Play Store on their S25U?

I'm trying to install an app (if anyone wants to test it for me, its Fight Camp) and it will download, but it keeps giving me an error amd fails to install.

I've reached out to their support team, but they gave me the generic Google trouble shooting steps, and they all failed. The final suggestion was to get another device and install it on there.

I don't have another tablet, but I did test it on my old, and very slow, BlackBerry Motion that I have sitting in a drawer. It installed on that device without issue.

I tried to install it over Wi-Fi and only in cellular. I even tried to transfer the app from the BlackBerry Motion using SmartSwitch, but it never shows up after the "transfer" completes.

Is this something that happens on the S25U in particular? I tried to search the install fail error but couldn't find anything in the forums that seemed similar to my issue.

Any insight or advice is appreciated

I think this shouldn't concern you. you can download the apk file of it and it'll run fine. I myself have download the apk file of cx files explorer.

Ok so, I tried to sideboard with the APK. And it's still failing. So it seems that its something on my phone. Its almost 9pm here, so I'm going to grab a shower and try to backup my phone and wipe it. Hopefully, I can get everything setup and running over the weekend.

Do you have install unknown apps enabled?

Just to update.

I ended up backing everything up individually with Samsumg Smart Switch PC. Except my messages. It kept failing, so I used an external USB storage drive, and plugged it directly into my phone to backup with SmartSwitch mobile. I thought it worked. I thought all of it worked. I wiped the phone. And went back to restore everything. Not only did I lose all of my text messages, especially the ones with my cousin that passed away, but my videos won't restore either. I can see the files for all of the backups I made, but they don't appear on my device at all.

Oh, but the app installed. I'm so angry and frustrated now. All those hours to make it work and back it all up, I lost the most important things.
