app label Samsung Galaxy

I have CM Cleaner installed on my new s6 Active, as well as Lookout and Avast!. I'm doing some cleaning, and CM says that I may choose to Disable an unused app labeled "Samsung Galaxy". I've already disabled and force stopped the Samsung Account app since I don't use it and haven't found any other use for it, but this "Samsung Galaxy" app... is it needed? What does it do? Can I safely disable and/or force stop it without having any issues?

Re: app label Samsung Galaxy

It should be ok to disable. You can always enable it if you see any problems

I created this account to post replies to answers. I asked this question again to make things easier, I also couldn't find this original question. It's in the Android Apps forums as the same "app label Samsung Galaxy" question. I was going to post the link but I apparently need 10 points before I can do so, but below is the rest of the url after you're in the Android Apps forums section.

Just go to the android apps forums and then do a backslash and type in this:
