App like Dr Battery?

I was just wondering if there is an app that i can view battery stats. Like the life of it and stuff. And the Mah and stuff. Kinda like Dr Battery for Palm users.

this comes stock on android. i have a widget called extended controls with a battery icon that shows the first one when you tap on it.

It's hard to explain. It shows how fast it's charging by showing the mAh. And you can calibrate the battery by fully discharging it and charging it back to full.

I experienced a 50% to 20% drop instantly today, and i just bought a new battery off amazon last week.

I have, I found an app called Battery calibration. I'm trying it out now, to see if it works

Are you rooted? You can use clockworkmod recovery to wipe battery stats and recalibrate it that way.

I am rooted and all that good stuff. And I also have rom manager installed, how would I go about doing that?

I'm guessing since you have ROM Manager you have flashed ClockworkMod recovery?
If so:
1. boot into recovery
2. click on advanced
3. wipe battery stats

doesnt matter where your battery is at, but i suggest what sploinkin said here:

What exactly does wiping battery stats do? I did it for the first time on sat, and now my phone seems to be dying a lot faster or just showing the wrong percentage.

im not really sure what it does. lol, back to the OP, have you tried Battery Solo Widget? androidguys talked about it. seems pretty good.

Wiping the batter stats basically makes your phone forget how your battery works. If you do it correctly, your phone will learn how much juice your battery has to use and be able to gauge more accurately how much is left.

Charge fully -> leave it on the charger -> reboot into recovery and wipe battery stats -> reboot your phone -> leave it on the charger for a minute to make sure it has a full charge -> drain completely until it shuts off without charging it at all

Nice, yeah I did that this morning as soon as I woke up figured if I did it again with a full battery maybe it would help.

Seems to be a little more tricky and I think you need a special rom. Don't know if it's avail for your device.

I tried that app, and to no avail. I bought a new battery, so i think it's showing the right percentage.
