Here's a quick one for you boffins. Is there a file on the tablet that holds the names of all installed apps? One that is readable to copy off so I know what apps i've installed.

I'm sure there is a file somewhere in there with this information. However, I don't think its readable. Are you trying to see a list of installed applications on your desktop computer? If so, you can log into your Play Store account and see what apps are installed and what was installed in the past. You can print whatever you like if a hardcopy is what you need reference to.

It was only the apps on the tablet.. Basically, I have about 90+ apps installed, (lol, prob use 10 of them!) but I just wanted a file I could copy off and quickly look at in case the tablet fails. Not urgent at all, just for my convenience rather than write them all down or go through the play store.

Helium backup let's you backup apps from each devices and the ability to restore at a later date. You might be interested in that.
