app on Samsung s7 tablet shows error code RG030

[Android Central Question]

I have been successfully using Barclays mobile banking app on Samsung Galaxy S7 tablet for about 2 years. However today after entering my pin, was informed I could not open app until the latest version from Google play store was uploaded. ERROR CODE RG030.
My tablet is currently using Android 12 and Google chrome is also fully up to date but according to Google playstore it does not have a Barclays app to update?

Welcome to Android Central! Banking apps tend to be more buggy than others in the Play Store in terms of device compatibility. Send and email to the developer and describe your issue.

Thanks for finding that -- but from what the OP wrote, it also sounds like the app isn't even in the Play Store any more for that device, so there might be some kind of compatibility issue as well.:-\

Try clearing data then force stop play store and see if it goes back to normal

Weird because it's in my Play Store but the ratings are horrible

EDIT: I need to learn to read. OP is on a tablet which is probably why he can't see the app in playstore. The app seems to be just a "shortcut" to the web version.

I see two apps in the Play Store when looking for Barclays - Barclays US Credit Cards and Barclays US Savings (since I'm in the US). I don't see a generic Barclays mobile banking app. Which of these might you be looking for?

for what it's worth - my bank recently dropped support for the tablet version of their app, and the phone version does not appear in a search from the tablet. My bank communicated this to me, maybe Barclays dropped tablet support and wasn't as forthcoming with the information?
