App request ***Specific for Evo** turn of 4g if at a certain location

Ok i wish i knew how to make apps ........but i think it would be good if there was an app that used location services and u can mark a specific location or multiple location that you know for fact wont pick up 4g and have it turn it off so it wont drain battery. I dont know if location services would drain it more than actually searching for signal , but i just thought i would share.

The reason i thought of this app is because my mother in laws house inside has no 4g. Outside it does, it is one of those marked on coverage map as " only on street" so every time i try to use data there i keep disconnecting and cant do anything data wise on 4g but if i switch off 4g everything runs smooth developers i don't know if this is possible but thanks in advance if u can pull it off ...and if u need beta testers holla

Locale can probably do this with a plugin. It's a big pricey, but you can tell it to do all kinds of things based on your location. I have it set to turn my bluetooth off when I'm at home or work, to save battery. Then when I'm at neither of those two locations it assumes I'm in the car and turns it on. Pretty neat. It also is set to set my phone to vibrate when I'm in a meeting. Check around and see if someone has a 4G plugin for it, so you can control the state of the 4G radio.
