OK, this is annoying the hell out of me and I feel like I should be able to figure this out, but can't thus far. I opened up a game (Walking Dead: Road to Survival) and it is not sizing correctly. It seem like the screen is sizing to the full screen size, but there is a bar on the bottom (where the captive buttons normally are) that doesn't disappear, just stays a black box thus cutting off the in game screen. How can I fix this? Here is what I'm talking about:

I don't play WD:RtS but have noticed the bar on the far right in Injustice 2. Basically the games aren't yet supporting the 18:9 aspect ratio, so you get the bar. But unlike mine, your screen actually appears to be cutting off right and left side.

Contact the game developer and let them know about the issue for their game on newer devices at 18:9... I'm sure they'l eventually get around to it, but the more people that raise it to their attention, the more likely they'll get to it faster.

I think this is a bug for certain apps and even video from website who haven't update for the new ratio. I was on ESPN app when I did full screen for their videos, same thing happened. Instead of leaving black bars on the side, the videos were cut off a little on the top and bottom. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future.

Hey, I know I'm a little late but I've also been pretty frustrated with this. I've been messing around with developer settings and think I found a loop hole until this is resolved the right way. In Developer settings go to the tab Drawing and then to Simulate a display with a cutout. All three options should work as I've tested it on a few games. Let me know if it works for you!
