App Shortcut Issue

Hello all. Just got the s7 yesterday. I have had several galaxies in the past and I am familiar with android systems. I downloaded the uber app but the app shortcut didn't download on my home screen even though I have that setting on and its not listed in my app folder but when I search for it it's there. How the heck do I add it to my home screen?! I have tried uninstalling it and re installing it. Nothing. I have restarted my phone. nothing. and I have clear out the saved data from the touchwiz. nothing. This is driving me crazy. I have read about a hundred articles with tips on apps and other issues but none have worked for this one.

Hello and welcome to the forums! I'm not sure if you found or not the app in your app drawer. If you did, can't you drag it from there to your home screen? Also, long press on your home screen, select widgets and search for it on that list.
