App size after ics update

So last night I stole the wife's NS4G and did the manual update that was posted on the main page. It went well and everything is working but she tells me this AM that her apps seem to take up much more space, even when moved to usb storage. In the past moving them significantly reduced their size.

Any advice or thoughts on this?
