App vs. forum?

I don't have the AC app yet and I'm just typing this post directly from my device's browser. Are there any differences/advantages to using the app as opposed to just going to the website?

It's a lot easier to read using the app. I use Tapatalk, though, for the forums, and the Android Central app for the rest of the website features and blogs. Anyway, why not try the AC Forums app and compare with using a browser. If you don't like it as well you can always uninstall.

So unless someone can point to a real advantage of using the app, I just don't see a reason to use it over a web browser.

Some members just want to see the device or topic they have interest in and cut out all the stuff you see via web browser modes. Tapatalk & the AC Apps offer that option to get right down to business and if something more catches your eye you can always open it to full web browser to get a bigger picture of what is going on.

Of course everyone's needs and wants are different
