Apple Headphones on Moto G6

[Android Central Question]

Hey everyone I have done a lot of googling and cant seem to find an answer that is reliable or current. I'm a new android convert (went from iphone 7 plus to moto G6) after I gave my wife my iphone after she broke hers. I'm happy with the phone but the only bummer I have right now is my bose earbuds that are for iphone don't work completely. They play music but the volume controls don't work.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an adapter that fixes this? Do the USB C ones work?
