It's been pretty clear that a lot of the AC writers would rather us all switch to iPhones so they can stop writing about Android.

The ones who don't just need the clicks.

OnePlus. Samsung and epecially Google offer excellent update support. It's a non-issue for most.

The exception being budget iPhones get long upates too. I'll give them that.

Why isn't "Limited Customisation" a negagive?

It's iPhones locke down nature, not just in customisation but in lots of silly ways it locks down the OS why I'm not interested. Appreciate this isn't important to the masses but it's important to enough people.
