No iphone 5. just an iPhone 4S.
same cpu as ipad2, no word on RAM, but probably same as ipad2, better graphics & better camera.
same case, same screen - basically iPhone 4 on a half a dose of steroids.

iphone 5 was never planned for this year. Iphone 4s is the iphone 5. Apple finally caught up with Android with dual-core processor and decent RAM, but we have enjoyed that for quite a few months already. I mean, iphone hardware has peaked, the "big deal" is iOS5, but that's hardly exciting for us Android fans who have been enjoying most of the features since Froyo. Assistant? Google's voice command was doing that almost a year ago. Notification center? What a joke.

I don't know what you are looking for in iphone 5, but can you even think of any improvements Apple can make to the iphone's hardware? No. There really isn't that much left to do until the technology leaps next year. But by then, Android will be way up there as well. qHD AMOLED? Bring it on baby!

I suspect those we'll start seeing a flood of iPhone 3GS & 4 users start poking around looking into the latest android devices like the S2 in the forums. There's gonna be those who's contracts are about to be renewed and specs won't matter much. They'll have to choose between the new iPhone that looks the exact same, or a new android device with a gorgeous giant screen.

the ONLY reason i was even INTERESTED in the iphone 5 before the announcement was that i heard the iphone rapes android battery

im going mixed emotions on my battery and right now i hate the battery, i knew it would suck but its kinda disheartening to be able to see my battery lose 1 % every few minutes while browsing :/

new iPhone has 100 less hours of standby time. I think this is the hurdle that is stopping apple from a bigger screen with 4G. They've always been proud of the batteries, and rightfully so. But the more you tax it with better tech, the harder it becomes, esp being sealed with no option to upgrade.

It is really a pretty good phone. The guts are all different and improved. The big downside, if one ignores dealing with Apple which is hard to do, is the smaller screen. I know lots of people who don't like the size of the 4.3-4.5" screen, but, it is what sold me on the GSII as I got tired of scrolling and/or zooming in and out of my 3gs. Depends if you want a slick phone, or something more usable which is what the larger screen provides.

The Apple camera got much better in the 4 and this one looks even better with a better sensor, more rez, and motion stabilizing.

I expect Apple to come along with a larger Iphone 5 shortly and it will be a true LTE phone.

I don't expect true Apple fans will hesitate to buy this one as they drink the Kool-Aid for breakfast.

The Geek squad, and us wantabe geeks, will be sticking with android unless something better comes along.

to be honest, i love the design of iphones, the galaxy s2 is alot larger than i wanted. ive felt an iphone 4 and the thing was eye candy

but you prove a good point, the screen is good for a reason. i noticed i have not used the zoom feature even once..something i loved doing on the iphone simply because it was fun

is the small increase in size that much more beneficial tho? i mean would most people give up battery for screen size to not have to zoom in a lot

i just feel like if im using the iphone 4 as much as i am the galaxy, i should still have 50% by the end of the day instead of 20-30. camera is not a big issue but its nice to know i have it, i use it alot if i go to a concert but that is not often. does actual phone hardware change reception? like is it possible for an iphone to have better reception than my sg2

i have around 1-3 bars but its not very accurate imo, i used my sis's iphone 4 and it browsed with 3 bars pretty fast, keep in mind im not even sure if it was on wifi but i dont think it was

I haven't had one complaint about the SGS2, and that includes the battery. It has done as well for me as my iPhone 3GS, so I have nothing but praise for this thing. It's amazing!

I have friends getting 30 hours of real world battery life out of his bone stock Epic touch 4g. When the roms starts coming, we are expecting the battery to be even better while being even faster.

Big turd...I was waiting to decide Iphone 5 versus galaxy...now its prime/ verizon versus. It would cost more having two plans...wife?att and me Verizon but to get retinal display, IC 4 and perhaps LTE

Stupid Apple. The specs inside the "new", excuse me while I giggle to myself, Iphone 4s have been the norm for months now with android phones. I'll take my Droid Bionic, thanks. Thanks Apple for the good laugh, have you tried stand-up?!?

Lol this entire thread its hilarious from (title) beginning to end. I've been searching for this I knew it existed, as said before I almost feel bad for those stone cold fans. Uhhh not they've been hollering apple since I had the G1 phone. "we" all knew android was superior! Just think how I'd feel if after waiting over a year for sgs2 it had another keyboard eeew! I truly feel there pain lol. But seriously there's plenty of androids to be sold. As "ARNOLD" said above me I'm wondering how many of them will think they have 4g, & what possible crap excuse will they pull outta there _ _ _ this time to say this phones superior lol seriously this thread...
