Does anyone believe eventually apple will surpass android to the point all consumers will want and ever buy is the iPhone? Bcuz from the looks of things iPhone is still the number one phone and are winning against the patients. And iPhone updates for there phones comes all at once various android where devices take so long for software updates it almost like blackberry because blackberry takes forever to get a new software update

Its easier for apple to update there os. Android have different size screens, OEMS, etc. And I believe apple will always be number one. But that won't stop android at all. ,most patents aren't against the android os just what manufactures do to the os that infringe on the patents.

Its competition. We all love it. That's why we have all these great device to pick from. I think in the future .. more iPhone user will make the switch because honestly there isn't much apple can do to make the i6 any different than the i7 considering how they update their phones, could be 3000% wrong on that and apple switch it up on us next year. But android will always change do to the openness of it. So much more you can do.

If apple was to change the next iPhone I believe android will get taking over by apple in the markets

Not a chance.....ever. I've yet to buy anything with an Apple logo on it.

Name one product, any product (in any category) where there's a situation "all consumers will want and ever buy". It's not going to happen. As for my personal choice, I've haven't had the need or the desire to buy it. Choice is good, plain and simple.

No way. Globally, Android has 68% of the market compared to IOS at a declining 17%. In the US, its 52 to 32 respectively.

I aim to be different... Not cookie cutter. All iPhones all look the same to me. I don't like that.

I made this same statement on another forum--wording was a bit different but message all the same and was told I was missing the point.
Yes, every iPhone is the same. The only thing that makes Android phones different is all the manufacturers out there who keep making them different. I look at someone with an iPhone and know it's an iPhone. Android, I have to ask them what phone they have.

I just like being different. Makes life so much more interesting.

No. But apparently Apple is scared and everyone in Cupertino stays up long nights thinking about it.

I think more and more people are starting to realize Apple isnt all it's cracked up to be. Don't get me wrong; I like Apple--have a lot of their stuff right here in front of me.
Depending on the person, when I'm asked what they should get I usually say Apple (iPhone/iPad) for the simplicity. Some people find Android overwhelming.
