Application update Notification

I've Been Having a Problem With my Apps Not notifying that they need updates. I have to manually check to see if There is any updates, And now i did go into market And made sure that it says to Notify me. Any Solutions? I'm Interested to see if any of you got this problem if this is even a problem?? Also have a Problem About my Gmail not Giving me a Notification either But their is already a thread about that.....

What apps are you having issues with in the market

In the gmail settings make sure notify me once is not checked. I have never had an issues with gmail notifications

I also have had a problem with the market not notifying me of an update for an app. It's really annoying and it has happened with every Android device I've owned (G1, G2, Thunderbolt). I wish that they could treat the updates like emails, and notify immediately when there's an update. As it is, I check for updates every few hours; needless to say, it's annoying.
