Apps for G Watch R

Looking to tap into the experience some of you have had with your G Watch R. Santa gifted me with one of these beautiful devices for Christmas. I'm all connected, have chosen my favorite watch face from the standard watch faces and installed the Poweramp Android Wear app which seems to be working fine for controlling Poweramp on my phone from the watch. So far, so good.

What other apps do you recommend or what tips do you have for a new G Watch R user? There is already so much out in the Play Store for Android Wear, if you can help me separate the wheat from the chaff, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Discovered Mini Launcher and it is pretty cool. Have to check out Facer and Watchmaker.

FYI, I installed Mini Launcher and an app called StayLit Wear (an app that extends how long the watch face stays on before dimming). Mini Launcher seems to lag and when both apps are installed I have connection issues between my phone and the watch. Remove these two apps and the connectivity issues go away. Anybody else having issues with these apps?

FYI, I'm using a TMo Xperia Z3 with stock 4.4.4.

Just installed StayLit on mine. Another thing that LG or Google should have included from the get go.

No issues with this and Mini Launcher on mine so far.
