Apps having problem Updating, what could the problem be?

Apps having problem Updating

Samsung Galaxy S4 using Android 4.3 version. All of a sudden the apps that needs to be updated are just showing on the Google Play store status that they are being downloaded only. This has been going on since yesterday. I have tried to manually update just one app at a time but the problem still exists. I also have cleared out the Google Play store cache and data files. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

Try going to the App Manager, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

If that doesn't work, try going to Settings>Accounts-Google, select your Google account, and remove it completely from the phone. Then add it back again, and see if that helps.
