Apps opening in zoomed view sometimes?

I have noticed apps sometimes open in a zoomed in view instead of the panned out view. Like YouTube for instance, sometimes when I open it the app is zoomed in with only 1 or maybe 2 videos shown on the screen but other times I open the app and it shows multiple videos. Is there a setting to keep it to always open in the panned out mode? See screenshot example of YouTube when opened at different times.

My Flipboard app does the same thing. However, I kinda like it switching up on me lol

You probably have to play with aspect ratio of each app in settings>advanced features>labs

It's got something to do with using an App on the front screen them the large inside screen. If you open YouTube on the front screen then close the app then open the phone and open YouTube again but on the inside big screen it still has it stretched out like you're on the smaller front screen. I opened Labs and set it to Fullscreen and it still does it.

When you chose 16:9 ratio you get regular view but with borders

Yeah it's already setup for Multiview but it still sometimes switches to Standard view I guess that's why it changes like that in YouTube? A bug I guess?
