I've recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S2 to a Nexus 4. I love having Vanilla Android. It's great.
I was just wondering, are there any apps out there that you use to improve/customise the UI. I liked some of Samsung's Touch Wiz features, but not all of them.
I know this is very subjective. Anyway, I've installed two that I would like to share with you.
One is a launcher called Nova Launcher. It's pretty popular so you may have heard of it. Go into the settings and play around and look it up on YouTube for more info. It allows multiple home screens, multiple quick launch bars on the bottom of the home screen and other graphical improvements.
The other one that I found last night is called Notification Toggler. It's surprisingly not as popular. The video on the Play store does a good job of explaining the main features. It basically allows you to customise shortcuts for settings/apps in the notification menu.
IMO, these are a must for anyone running Vanilla Android 4.2.2
Are there any others that make you use your phone more efficiently?
Thanks,
Craig
