Apps won't update

I have a rooted Fascinate that is not activated. I use it to play games or watch Netflix. For the past 2 or 3 months, none of my apps will update. Also can't uninstall any apps by any method. When I go to settings, the apps just sit there, saying "computing." Can't move from SD card to phone, can't clear cache. Any ideas on how to fix this issue, please?
