I noticed that there is some apps under the settings menu that arent on the phone . Apps like feather, polar bear,and the little prince.

I believe those are part of the LG preinstalled apps and programs.
Part of the User Interface. Some people call it Bloatware.

Some are. Some not so much.
With the amount of space and the speed that the G2 has, the extra apps don't affect the everyday operation.
