AppsToSD broken on BB v0.2...

Anybody else notice disappearing apps when transfering them to the sd card thru settings on new BB v0.2? They are not uninstalled, but no longer appear in the launcher or as icons & are not recovered when transfering them back to phone storage.

Read the FAQs on alldroid-
I had the same problem- what you have to do is the following (and there are some other options)
whenever you reboot (unfortunately) and I'm assuming you're using a launcher replacement (like launcher pro)
1. Settings--> applications--> manage applications--> launcher pro (or whatever you're using)--> clear defaults
2. Press Home and select the normal launcher (don't set as default)
All of your apps should be back in place but this works for me even when that doesn't happen.
3. Hit home again and select your launcher (launcherPro, adb, etc...)
4. verify all your icons are back.
5. If so, hit home again and set as default.

Most of the apps haven't been modified to work from the SD Card and until the app developers so that's causing the problems when you move them.

Thanks for the quick reply, ya that method works perfectly on launcher pro & I had to do a quick reload of the more icons widget as well...

find applications in settings -> applications -> sd card tab. If there, click in and click "move to phone" and that will fix. apps2SD does work but there are some bugs and some apps don't play nicely with it. Right now i have 5 apps on my sdcard that do work nicely tho, just moved the rest back to phone for my issues. I was using adw launcher btw and there was no fix by just clearing default on the app, had to move apps back to phone.

THIS solution btw, by moving apps back to phone, fixes it permanently and you do not have to reclear defaults on every login.
