Are all mods the same size?

Yes, it will fit. All current Moto Mods work on all three generations of Moto Z phones. That was one of the things Moto promised us, all Moto Z, Z2 and Z3 series phones can use the same Moto Mods. It makes it nice since all the Mods I bought with my Z Force and Z Plays still work on my Z2 Force and Z2 Plays. The only exception is the new 5G Moto Mod, but it's not even on the market yet. Buy all other Mods will work on your Z3. Enjoy!

And the good news is that the Model # / Part # in their description matches the Kate Spade Wireless Charging Battery Mod that I bought for my wife a few years ago with her Z Play. Kate Spade also made a Battery Mod without wireless charging built in, and a Kate Spade style shell (no battery) that let you download Kate Spade wallpapers. Many eBay sellers do not know the difference between the three and list them all as "wireless charging battery mod", which is not always the case. I bought one for my daughter thinking it was the wireless battery mod and we received the silly style shell with wallpapers. I was able to eventually get my money back from eBay, but the seller was not cooperative. So as long as the actual Mod in that ad matches the description and Model # you should receive the genuine Battery Mod with wireless charging built in.

Ok, thanks. There was 2. One 9.99 and one 14.99. Same number. One used and one refurbished. I decided to just give the cheaper a try.

Let you know once it arrives.

The kate spade arrive d today. Was zero percent. But it works. Its charging now. It popped up now you can wireless charge s so it recognizes at least. Not sure how used it is but is charging for now.

Not so good deal. I charged overnight. Then it lasted 4 hours before it died. So too used I guess.

The one where it uses the mod first. I forget where that setting is. But after coming home and recharging it it last longer now. 7 hours and 3 minutes since last full charging and 1 hour and 12 minutes screen usage. And down from 100 percent to 59 percent. So only 41 percent. But earlier in the car lasted only 4 hours with constant use. So on standby its good. Or maybe last night was charged on my heyday qi pad. And earlier this past day from the cord directly. So maybe bad qi. Not charging even though it saya 100%.

There are two battery Mod modes: Efficiency and Default (or Turbo if using the Moto Turbo battery). Try going to Settings > Connected Devices > Moto Mods > tap your battery name and make sure it's on Efficiency Mode. It will only charge the phone when the phone is below 80% and keep the phone at 80%. Default Mode will always try to get your phone to 100% and keep it at 100%. You will get much better Battery Mod life in Efficiency Mode. In time these Mod batteries degrade just like any other LiOn battery. My Incipio and Kate Spade are both 2 1/2 years old, bought with our Z Force and Z Play in 2016, and don't have as much life as when new. But when used in Efficiency Mode they last quite a while and keep the phone at 80% for many hours. Of course it also depends on what you are doing with your phone during that time; Navigation or watching movies, or heavy games are still going to drain both batteries fast.
