Are All USB-C Earbuds/Earphones Compatible with the Note 10+?

Here's a burning question that's been on my mind.
I know the Note 10+ doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and you can only listen to music by:
A. Using a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter
B. Using wireless Bluetooth earbuds
C. Use USB-C earbuds

And I know the Note 10+ comes with one pair of USB-C earbuds, but they're lackluster.
I've been browsing around the try and find reasonable USB-C earbuds I could invest in. I don't want wireless earbuds at this time, and while it would be convenient to invest in the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, if I were to get one with charging capabilities, Samsung warned about these adapters.

But when it comes to shopping for these USB-C earbuds, it's likely some will be thrown on sales with Black Friday and Cyber Monday right around the corner, but what I'm curious is are all USB-C earbuds compatible with the Note 10+, or are only certain USB-C earbuds compatible with the Note 10+?

I've heard certain earbuds are only compatible with a handful of devices, and some mentioned attempting to plug in earbuds into the Note 10+, but they didn't work. Others said these USB-C earbuds would need built-in DAC chips in order for them to work with most modern smartphones. Others claim certain USB-C earbuds should be "universal" and should be compatible with anything that uses USB-C ports.

I've always used phones with a dedicated headphone jack, but even then I never got into which headphones are ideal (I only use it to plug into my car stereo).

If you get USB-C earbuds, there's no charging capability, so why not just get an adapter to 3.5mm without charging capability, and use good earbuds that have a 3.5mm plug? It's the same piece, the bulk is just in the jack instead of in the plug. Not much difference.

I know there's the Samsung OEM USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, but I've seen some negative reviews of it (though much of it is with people being upset Samsung forces us to shell out additional money just to be able to use 3.5mm dongles -- I can kinda see why people are upset by this; 3.5mm is slowly becoming obsolete to phone companies, but we're not quite ready yet to move on from them because they're so convenient)

There's also other USB-C to 3.5mm adapters w/o charging, but I don't know how those compare to Samsung's.

Now there is also the idea of just switching from 3.5mm altogether and going to USB-C earbuds, but those earbuds need DAC chips for the Note 10+ to recognize them, and note all USB-C earbuds will be recognized, even with a DAC chip.
Now I did find this one here on Amazon. What are your thoughts on this pair of dongles? Would these be acceptable, or should I look into the adapter?

There's already the wall charger Samsung gives in the box, and I'm investing in 2 car chargers + 2 additional wall chargers for backup.

So all I really need is either
1. USB-C earbuds with DAC chips or
2. the 3.5mm dongle + the adapter w/built-in DAC

I think wired usb-c headphones will be obsolete before they even take off as a product, improved wireless will get all the development money and win the race, wired usb-c will just be a backup

I was also gonna suggest the HTC Hi-Res w/ active noise cancellation USB-C earbuds. Apparently you can't buy them anymore.

Audiophiles can; but true audiophiles won't be listening to music from a $250 wired headphones on a smart phone. They have rigs costing in the thousands of dollars.

The biggest concern now for wireless audio is privacy and security.

Especially the lower quality, cheaper ones. I haven't noticed latency with my Bose Wireless Free ear buds or my JBL noise canceling headphones.


That, I think has more to do with the DACs used in wireless audio devices, than them being wireless.

I'm still on the fence with this.
I've heard one major issue is with the USB-C port itself. Even if I use a C to 3.5 adapter, it's continued use of the C port, and if it gets damaged, then the Note 10+ is dead since I can't recharge it. That's one thing I'm looking at with both the adapter and USB-C earbuds.
Of course, wireless earbuds don't have to face this issue, but unless they're reasonably, there's the issue of latency, so it seems more like a "Pick Your Poison" situation...

--Not have to worry about the C port, other than recharging, but potentially have to deal with latency and bandwidth of wireless earbuds?

I found these on eBay. I'm not looking for grand-spanking earbuds. I just want earbuds that are reliable and can last me for some time. But please share your thoughts on these earbuds.
