Are apps and ads safe?

I downloaded Inkpad notes for my phone, and when I tried to use it asked for me to login into my Google ID and asked something else. There was a permissions thing asking me if I wanted Inkpad to be linked to my ID or something. I came off it and uninstalled it. I also clicked an ad on another app accidentally and it took me to Google Play. Is anything on my phone compromised or is everything okay?

Everything is fine. Don't worry too much about it.

Also if you don't have one already, get an anti virus app like Avast! Just to be on the safe side.
And if you want a pretty good notes app I am using "classic notes Lite + App Box" By Fluffy Delusions I've tried Inkpad and a lot of other note taking apps and I find this one to be the best. if you don't want ads just buy the ad free version. Hope that helped.

Thanks for your reply. I have avast! installed already, just was a bit concerned what ads within apps could do. And was a bit suspicious of Inkpad asking for my login details. I didn't enter my password, just cancelled it and removed the app once it was auto-adding my email.
