Are new SIMS required to get LTE on Straight Talk or Net10?

If one upgrades to an LTE-enabled phone for an existing account on either Net10 or Straight Talk, do you have to get a new SIM card to get the new LTE service?

For straight talk you need a new sim card with the new apn setting. My wife has net10 and if you already have the tfdata apn you should be good.

I got the new sim and have LTE now. The only problem is that I can't receive MMS now.. can only send. Anyone else having that issue?

Yeah that seems to be a problem, I use the whatsapp app to send pictures to my wife who is on net10. I have straight talk and have never been able to send her pictures. Its free for the 1st year and $1 a year after that
