hi. I download videos from online sources, and sometimes copy them to a OTG flash drive so i can view them on my HDTV, but sometimes the files do not copy over correctly. Why? Because my phone is virus infested. Are there any files management apps that turn read and write verify on, to make sure the files are read and written correctly???

Welcome to Android Central! I don't have a direct answer for you, but where are you downloading these videos from? If these are shady sites (and any site that offers free movie or TV downloads that are otherwise supposed to be paid for is by definition shady), then they're also really high risk for malware, which might explain why your phone is infested with viruses.

hi. i mostly download videos from youtube. i know that sometimes videos from shady sites may have malware. i try to be careful. thanks! do you know which websites do a hash check? maybe this would be a good thing.

Unless you subscribe to YouTube Premium, be aware that 3rd party YT downloaders violate the terms of service (and are therefore also more at risk of containing malware).
