You can open the scratchpad folder on your phone through the Drive app and edit as necessary. I also found an older notepad app that shows that it syncs with Google Docs and since Google Drive is Google Docs it should sync. It might be worth a shot. I want to be able to say type a list of games I bought on my phone and then have them accessible offline but also synced to my Drive that way when I get home I can format it and copy/paste really easy.
Pretty much any notepad that could sync to google drive and back again would be perfect.
