Are there any current Verizon phones that I can root?

Hello, I need to root my phone but it is a Verizon phone. I currently have the Samsung J7V. What I like most is that the battery lasts all day and I have no issues with it in general. I also like how the phone seems to work anywhere in the US and the world with Verizon. So I am searching for a good, basic smartphone that is at least 2 years old or much newer with little to no known issues, the battery lasts all day (or almost all day), is rootable, and works with the Verizon network (or is with a provider that works well wherever I may travel to in the US and the world). What are my options since I need to root this phone? Are there any similar phones? Do I need to purchase an international phone in order to root it? Thank you!

The Pixel (not the Verizon version) will work with Verizon and is rootable with Magisk. So is the Pixel 2, which is being sold new pretty cheaply. (You get the Q update and the R update - the Q is already in beta 2 [but can't be rooted yet - But you can stay on Pie.].)

Thank you! I prefer not to stay on Pie. I prefer Android 6.0 or 7.0. Oreo at least or Pie seems unavoidable at this point? I will look into those phones. So they have a good battery life? With the phone I have now, I am impressed how my phone can go over 20 hours without a charge.

Also, what if I swich over to other carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint? Is the network connection around the US or Worldwide as reliable? Will I have more options to root with what I am looking for that way?
