Are there any headphones that work well with this phone.

So, I guess I need new headphones. Because apparently my apple ear pods work with the nexus 4 except when it comes to using the remote to adjust audio.

This is a big deal for me, so if anyone has maybe a app suggestion to help for this please let me know.

But assuming there's nothing ai can do a out it, do we know of headphones that do fully function with the nexus 4 when it comes to remotes? Is there a way to tell if a headphones mic and remote will work with the nexus 4?

Kilpsch Images S4a - shop around for best prices. I think amazon had them for $80 or so. Those have android functionality like the iPhone buds have with the IPhone.

The are rated pretty well, however I do not own these so I can't tell from personal experience. Maybe other members would be able to assist as well.

Could also try the V-Moda Remix Remotes, believe they also got good reviews. Once again I don't own them personally so please do your research see if they fit your needs and buy accordingly.

Any recommendations for Bluetooth models? I tried a BlueAnt Q2 with my EVO but had to return it because it would lose the connection from just a few feet away. That soured me on BT headsets/earbuds, but I'm willing to give it another shot in case the N4's BT radio does a better job of maintaining a connection.

Android and iOS use different connections so you need either an Android or iOS version of a headset if you want to use the inline remote.

These work really well and sound great. I have the V-Moda's as well and the Klipsch are much more comfortable for long periods of time, e.g. at work!

Try a earphone control app before you get new earphones.. Might work for you
