AC Question

I have just received a replacement battery for my Galaxy Note 4 (Dual SIM) but the replacement battery from ANKER/Amazon is around 3mm to wide to fit into the battery bay.
On the outside of the battery it says Galaxy Note 4 but it do clearly not fit into my phone that says Galaxy Note 4 when I start it and on the cover.

New ANKER 41.4mm wide
My old Samsung battery 38.8mm wide

What could be wrong here, wrong battery or special Note 4?

There are different versions, but they all take the same battery. However, there are cheap knockoffs - that may not take the standard battery.

If you have the first case, contact Anker. If you have the second case, you have no options, since no one is going to make a battery that's 2.6mm narrower just to accommodate a badly-made knockoff.

Incredibly, the dual SIM (Duos) model of Note 4 uses different batteries than the standard Note 4.

I need an extended battery of the DUOS model.

I had to look for that a while ago - the only ones I found were "for the 910, 9100", which was evidently a guess on the vendor's part. I haven't see any extended battery for the 9100. (A power pack is your next best bet.)

if I cannot get an extended one, I will just a pair of the regular ones for N9100 model.
