Good day,
I’ve been using “Voice Note” app for some time now. I have it on my tablet and on my phone. Recently, I had occasion to reset my phone back to factory specs. After it re-loaded, “Voice Note” no longer looks, nor acts, the same as on my tablet. (Yes, they are both the same version number.)
The “listening” message is different. The original was (and still is on my tablet) a green box, with the Google logo, and “Try saying something” as the text. The new one is a blue/white box with “Listening for message to:” as the text. (I tried to capture the screens as a visual, but it didn’t work for some reason.)
Next the phone app fails to append the audio file - VERY important to me as I no longer speak very clearly and the transcribed text is often a mystery…easily solved by my being able to listen to the audio.
I’m wondering if there are TWO audio handling procedures on the HTC One, and if so, is there a way to select a preference?
I'd appreciate any thoughts or help you may offer.
Thanks.
