Are they going to add trainer battles?

I'm sure the question has already been asked. But do they plan on adding trainer battles in Pokemon Go? Like Player vs. Player?

I've heard that they are in a future update but no idea when this will happen.

I think that this will be the best update if they implement it. It will sure make the game more and more addictive.

I have heard that they will indeed be making it possible to have trainer-vs-trainer battles; but I too do not know when. It'll be exciting when it happens, though!

All of the above. It's bee rumored to be coming, plus many people WANT this feature. Currently it's not in the game and the developer has not said if and when it's coming at this time. So we really don't know.
