Are Verizon S6 phones "Unlocked" Right Out Of The Box?

I realize this may not be the right forum to ask this in but let me try anyway. So, probably like may others here, I'll be selling my mint condition S6 shortly. When I go on websites that advertise phones for sale, many posters indicate that their phones are "unlocked." I googled a bit and my provisional understanding is that all Vz S6's are "unlocked" right out of the box.

Is this true and would it therefore be OK for me to list my Vz S6 as "unlocked" when I list it for sale?

I know you guys are the experts and I know this forum is getting a huge amount of traffic right now so I just know I'll get an answer to this. [If the mods feel the need to move this, I suppose I have no choice but I'd be happy if it could stay here.]

Yes it is factory sim unlocked. But be sure to identify it as the Verizon version as it isn't fully compatible with many networks. It also has Verizon add ons and deletions compared to the international unlocked models.

Mod Note, I will move this to the s6 forum, since this is a s6 specific question.

OK, but if I list it as "Verizon S6, Unlocked" that would not be inaccurate, right?

Another Q. When I sell the phone is there a reason for me to remove the sim card or can I just leave it in the phone with no risk to my account or other security issues?

You can list unlocked but you have to say it's Verizon version because lots and majority of people don't like Verizon crap version because of slow updates/custom Verizon firmware etc. if you just list unlocked some may assume it's unbranded version with no carrier customization. Yes before selling take out your sim and factory reset.

That title should be fine.

I would remove the SIM card before selling
