are you guys staying on verizon after your contract is up?

Yep. Best coverage in my area and need the unlimited. Plus I am looking forward to LTE . For me, the cost is worth it.

Yes I'm stayig. I've had AT&T and T-Mobile. VZW has the best local and nationwide coverage for me. Plus I get a 13% discount through work.

As of now, yes. It is the most expensive, but you get what you pay for. Almost everyone I know has verizon, so the mobile to mobile really works out to my benefit. That, and I get a 15% discount thru work.

I'll be staying. I get 20% off my plan AND my unlimited data so I save over $30 a month. It's like getting my data package free. :)

Recent growing pains aside, and really it had to happen sooner or later, VZW is the most reliable around here for me. There is a spot for about 2 miles that I do not get coverage around here, there than that, it works great. I am staying...

Yeah I'll never change from verizon, great coverage and haven't had a problem that wasn't easily resolved. Plus I also get 20% discount on my plan and features so I'm saving a lot compared to what I would have to pay elsewhere.

Yes. Tried AT&T recently. Have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years. Figured I would see what the other guys had. Wife and I went with Samsung Captivate phones. Within days wife was complaining about dropped calls. Also the voice quality was poor at times. After 3 weeks we went back to Verizon and got the Samsung Fascinate.. What a difference. No dropped calls, good voice quality, etc just like before.. I am sure that AT&T cannot be this bad everywhere or no one would use them that have tried someone else. However, around where I live Verizon is the better. Have friends that had to have an iPhone and went from Verizon to AT&T. Now that Verizon has the iPhone they cannot wait for their contract to expire so they can come back to Verizon.
So yes I will be staying and Verizon will be winning my friends with iPhones back as well.

I've been with Verizon for a while and prefer them over the other carriers in my area.

If I could find someone better I would, but Verizon is the best carrier that I have in my area.

Verizon has the best coverage, I live out in the stixs for the time being, and don't have any problems with my reception or signal. When my bro comes out here, he's on ATT, he always has trouble getting signal.

Two year contracts make me gag. On my last one year. Verizons coverage used to be something you could really tout, but lately other carriers are doing a good job at that too. Sprint looks better and better to me. The fact they piggy back off VZW towers at times bothers me, but it is free and the coverage is good.

There will need to be a substantial coverage increase (3g/data) in the area where I live by all other carriers for me to even consider switching. Hands down Verizon has the best coverage.. I will be staying.

More than likely yes. While searching for a carrier about 2 years ago I had wanted to go with AT&T, but they wanted a $500 deposit from me, while Verizon wanted $75. Verizon has the best coverage in my area, and overall I'm very satisfied with their service. I've never had any hassles.

They bug me too, but for reasons I stated above and the fact that we have been with them for 20 years (+/-) combined, it isnt that big a deal. Actually I kinda figure that I am in a good spot with them my NE2 plan comes up for renewal sometime after I figure that they will 1) have the LTE bugs worked out in my area and 2) have a good selection of dual core phones out for me to choose from.

I guess if I was one of these guys that have 3 phones and switch all the time I would be tempted to jump ship because the other carriers seem to have a better selection right now, but I know VZW will eventually catch up

I personally use Page Plus Cellular. They are a Verizon reseller, so the coverage and quality are what you'd expect from Verizon. I pay $29.95 a month for 1200 minutes, 2000 texts, and 100 MB data. Thet have a plan for $44.95 that offers unlimited talk and text, but only 20 MB data. It is a prepaid type of service. And, you can use any VZW phone (short of the iPhone or any of VZW's current prepaid phones) with little to no issues.

THey have far better coverage than anyone else around here which makes me not really mind resigning up for a new 2 year contract.

Really with i could say I was leaving, my contract is up in July and after asking everyone I could find in my area of MD who has used any of the other companies Verizon is the only company who has blanket coverage here. I hate that they shove 80 lbs of bloatware on board and have decided that their customers don't desire a nexus device, and the last six months of android releases have been last years rehashes. But whats the point of having a really nice phone that drops calls on ATT or has bad 4G speeds on sprint?
I'll prob just end up staying on board the big red bandwagon
