Are you happy Samsung moved the location of the fingerprint sensor on the S9?

The question kind of says it all... are you happy with the new location of the fingerprint sensor on the S9? Or are you going to reserve judgement until you can get your hands on one to test?

I've never liked the S8 placement and likely never will. I'll wait and see with the S9...
I'm keen on the active variant but an wondering if they do that for this region (Australia) with the exynos chipset...

The best placement is on the front. Until they put it there again like on the S7, I will not like it.

honestly, not really. after hating on it so much before, I got used to it. now I have to get used too it again and it's just as proximal to the camera lens, so fingerprints will still be a problem.

Yes.

I never had issue with the Note8's position (I have a stupidly long index finger), but the S9 did it much better.

Simply put, it's better for those of all hand sizes

it is better for sure but for me still looks a little high and too close to the camera. Can still see the camera lens getting smudged

It should’ve been in this spot last year. I don’t know what Samsung was thinking by putting it next to the camera.

It's better but still not good needs to be completely separate from camera

I got used to the position on the 7edge front center , s8+, note 8 back to the side. I really liked the central position on the v20, nexus 6p's.

I've adjusted easily to the S8 fingerprint sensor. I actually prefer it over the front one on my old S7. it works well in my dash holder and my thumbs are always callused so they never worked well for me

Never had an issue with the S8+ placement but I have big hands. I can see why some had issues with it.

Either way the new placement seems more ideal and inline with other phones.

I really don't mind either way, but what I don't like is that the flash is placed like that. Looks weird. Would have been better if they placed it between the camera and the FPS.
